Harlow sleeps in bed with us (so you’ll have to be okay with sharing the bed!) and even has a little step to help her get on/off! She also comes up on the couch when she wants…pretty spoiled, we know! She usually gets a walk within an hour or so of us waking up. It doesn’t have to be long, just about 15 minutes or so…enough for her to get outside and do her business. Then wait at least 30 minutes to put her breakfast down. She has a doggie door with access to the backyard so she can go in/out as she pleases. But if you are around in the afternoon, another short walk would be nice. Just around our cul-de-sac works, she will probably pee a few times and may or may not do #2! Her dinner goes down around 7 or so. Lastly a walk before bed, similar in length to the morning walk is good. She should have #1s and #2 on this walk also. She does get 2 medicines after each meal, we call them treats and she gobbles them right up! The house is pretty low maintenance overall. Unless we are gone for a week and a half or more, probably no need to water any plants. We know it can get warm in the summertime but we’d ask that you please don’t set the A/C to lower than 76 degrees (we usually keep it at 78). We have a couple of fans you can run in addition to the A/C and that usually keeps it pleasant in the house. Also, no matter how hot it is during the day, the evenings cool down nicely so we usually just open up the windows and run the fans and the house cools down quick!

Hello, nice to meet you…virtually! My husband and I enjoy travel and are interested in having someone stay with our dog while we are away. She’s a little older and set in her ways so we are thinking she will be more comfortable in her own home rather than being boarded in someone else’s.
